Let’s have fun with Chemistry! In this program, we will create “magic” potions and exciting chemical reactions that will blow your mind. Erupt a volcano, make indoor snow, grow crystals, blast a rocket into the air, and more. We will learn about the states of matter and how things change with mixtures, solutions and chemical reactions. Join us to channel your inner Professor Snape!

Join Mudskippers Pottery as we shake off those Winter blues and explore nature in Spring! Get ready to get your hands dirty and tackle NEW projects that are sure to keep you entertained. You will work on pinch pots, coil pots and slab hand built pottery as you take your pottery from start to finish even glazing your own work! SCRATCH CODING & GAME DESIGN
Software: Scratch 2.0 Skill Level: Beg.-Int. Introduce your child to the wonderful world of programming! In this class, students will learn basic programming concepts using a simple drag-and-drop interface within the software Scratch, a project developed by the MIT Media Lab. Students will use their imaginations and implement creative thinking, while at the same time learning how to create and program simple games. Use pre-made art assets or create your own, and learn how to program them, to walk, talk, and interact with objects.

Software: Scratch 2.0 Nivel de habilidad: Principiante-Int. ¡Presente a su hijo el maravilloso mundo de la programación! En esta clase, los estudiantes aprenderán conceptos básicos de programación utilizando una interfaz simple de arrastrar y soltar dentro del software Scratch, un proyecto desarrollado por el MIT Media Lab. Los estudiantes usarán su imaginación e implementarán el pensamiento creativo y, al mismo tiempo, aprenderán a crear y programar juegos simples.
